Raw materials and process
The graphite electrode produced by our company is made of high-quality petroleum coke, needle coke, coal tar pitch and other low ash raw materials. After being calcined, batched, kneaded, shaped, roasted and pressure impregnated, it is graphitized at a temperature above 3000℃and then machined. The product has the characteristics of low resistivity, good conductivity, low ash content, compact and uniform structure, good oxidation resistance and high mechanical strength.
Product classification
According to the quality index of graphite electrode, it can be divided into ordinary power, high power and ultra-high power.
1. Ordinary power graphite electrode
It is allowed to use graphite electrode with current density lower than 17a / cm2, which is mainly used in ordinary power electric furnaces such as steel-making, silicon smelting and yellow phosphorus smelting.
2. Oxidation resistant coated graphite electrode
The graphite electrode coated with a layer of anti-oxidation protective layer can form a protective layer which can conduct electricity and resist high temperature oxidation, thus reducing the electrode consumption during steelmaking.
3. High power graphite electrode
It is allowed to use graphite electrode with current density of 18-25a / cm2, which is mainly used in high power arc furnace for steelmaking.
4. Ultra high power graphite electrode
Graphite electrode with current density greater than 25A / cm2 is allowed. It is mainly used in UHP EAF.
Main purpose
EAF steelmaking, industrial silicon furnace, yellow phosphorus furnace, corundum furnace
Nearly 30% of China's graphite electrodes are used for export, and the domestic demand is mainly concentrated in four industries: EAF steelmaking (35%), submerged arc furnace smelting yellow phosphorus (9%), abrasive (8%) and industrial silicon (5%), while the demand of other industries is very small.
Product inspection
The quality inspection of the electrode shall be carried out by the quality inspection department of Tengrui carbon, and the customer can carry out the acceptance according to the provisions of the standard.
PPackaging
The graphite electrode is packed with wooden case and wooden frame bottom bracket, and bound with packed steel belt.
Logo
The finished electrode shall be marked with safety wire on the corresponding electrode surface at the bottom of the joint hole.
